The Borough of Rochdale Fund is advising local community group leaders that there is still money available for their groups.

Groups can apply to the Fund for grants of up to £5000, and the Fund's advisory group are encouraging community group members to access these funds before it is too late.

Since the Borough of Rochdale Fund was formed in 2005, 156 grants worth over £300,000 have been made to Rochdale community and voluntary groups.

Themes for the Fund include safety (including crime and disorder), sustainable neighbourhoods (including environment and housing), prosperity, skills and jobs, lifelong learning (including early years and schools), transport, health and well-being, culture, sports and arts and community cohesion (including issues of race and disability).
