Update: child porn case moved
Date published: 08 July 2009
A High Court judge has ruled that all future court proceedings for Colin Blanchard and Vanessa George, the case for possessing pornographic images of children, will be held in Bristol, along with another person connected with the investigation.
Littleborough man Colin Blanchard, and Plymouth nursery worker Vanessa George, are both accused of being involved with extreme pornographic images of children.
Mr. Blanchard appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown yesterday (Tuesday 23 June), where he was told his case would be sent to be tried alongside the nursery worker in September.
He is charged with four offences, three of which are over indecent images of children.
A further defendant, Angela Allen, 39, from Bulwell, Nottingham, is charged with 16 counts of distributing, possessing and making indecent images of a child.
