Rochdale Borough Council’s Customer Service centre in Milnrow moves to a new home within the nearby library on Newhey Road from Monday 13 July.

Throughout the borough, frontline staff in the councils seven Customer Service Centre’s help more than 5,000 people a week.
Locating customer services and the library in one building should make it easier for residents said Customer Service Manager Carol Haworth: “We will continue to provide the full range of advice and support, including council tax benefits and other vital support to help people in the recession.
"Being in the library will hopefully avoid the need for customers to visit different buildings too.”
The new opening hours will be: Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4.45pm. Tuesday 9.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 3.45pm. It will be closed on Wednesday and Saturday. Library opening hours remain the same.
Earlier this year all council Customer Service Centres were awarded the Cabinet Office's new prestigious Customer Service Excellence standard.
