Summer fun across the borough
Date published: 19 June 2009
Link4Life has launched its 2009 Summer Holiday programme in the hope of keeping the borough's children entertained over the summer months.
The 64-page guide has full details of activities on offer throughout Rochdale.
‘Break Out for Summer’ guide is available free now from all main Council offices including libraries, leisure and customer service centres.
Thanks once again to the sponsorship of Rochdale based retailer, Monkhouse Schoolwear, every child in the borough at nursery, primary or special school has received their own personal copy to make sure as many children as possible get to know about what’s on offer.
The guide has full details of sports and fitness activities, which include the ever popular football sessions plus new and adventure activities such as dodgeball, athletics, mini tennis, Shokk Gym sessions, dance mats, mountain biking and water sports.
The guide also has details on play schemes, arts events, children’s activities at Touchstones Rochdale and at all local libraries, plus Link4Life swimming lessons and pool opening times with details of all the free sessions available under the Swim4Free scheme for Under 17s.
