New board appointment at NHS HMR

Christine Morgan
NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale has appointed Christine Morgan as a Non-Executive Director to its Trust Board.
Ms Morgan has joined the board to help lead, control and direct the activities of the organisation.
The board meets on the last Wednesday of every month to discuss organisational activity and key issues.
Ms Morgan was Deputy Head and Head teacher of Whittaker Moss Primary and Nursery School in Norden between 1982 and 1990 and more recently working as a Local Authority Adviser in Tameside.
John Pierce, chairman of NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, said: “Christine is a welcome addition to the Board and I believe she will bring valuable knowledge and expertise that will help to shape healthcare locally.”
NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale is the local leader of the NHS which means it is responsible for planning, securing and developing health services, and improving the health and well-being of the local population.
