Free pints for forces personnel at the Sandbrook in support of the UK's first Armed Forces Day.
The Sandbrook pub, on Sandbrook Way, is supporting the UK’s first Armed Forces Day, by offering a free pint to all forces personnel, past and present, when they buy a carvery at the pub between Monday 22 June and Sunday 28 June.
The pub is raising a glass to celebrate the achievements of local servicemen by offering a free pint of Carlsberg Lager, Tetleys Bitter or soft drink, to all forces personnel and veterans.
Mike Reeve, manager at the Sandbrook, said: "We look forward to rolling out the red carpet for every armed forces personnel living in Rochdale, who pops into the pub on either Armed Forces Day (Saturday 27 June) or during the week in the lead up to and including Armed Forces Day – from Monday 22 June until Sunday 28 June.”
To collect a free pint servicemen will need to download the voucher that appears with this news story and present it along with their ID card (or veteran lapel badge) to the bar staff when ordering a carvery at the Sandbrook.
