Charity to benefit from sale of human advert board
Date published: 10 June 2009
A man who turned himself into a human advertisement is now auctioning off his sandwich board for a Rochdale charity.
Jason Fruen, 39, from Salford wore the board which read “mechanical maintenance engineer seeks employment” whilst stood at the side of the M60 motorway in February.
Following four hours by the road side Mr Fruen attracted the attention of HGV Direct and was in a new job within a couple of days.
Mr Fruen has now decided to auction off his advertising board on eBay and any profits will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society branch in Rochdale.
