Carnival to march on
Date published: 06 June 2009
Wet weather won’t dampen the mood for all those taking part in Milnrow carnival this afternoon (Saturday 6 June).
Crowds will meet at 12.30pm at the carnival parade, with marching bands, dancers and local groups from within the community.
The crowds lining the streets will then be invited to join the fun at the college for a fete, where there’ll be displays, music, dancing, stalls, refreshments, puppet shows and a fairground for your enjoyment.
Rochdale Online News will upload photos and story later today.
