Just before 9pm on Wednesday 3 June 2009, police raided a house on Plover Close, Bamford, following reports of suspicious activity.
The house was searched and 350 plants, believed to have a street value of £63,000, were recovered.
Police Constable Gabriel Gibson, of the Rochdale north Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Once again, valuable information from members of the community has enabled us to make a significant impact on disrupting the supply of cannabis in Rochdale."
At about 1pm on Thursday 4 June 2009, police raided a house on Shearing Avenue, Norden, following reports cannabis was being grown there.
The house was searched and officers discovered 450 plants, believed to have a street value of about £81,000.
Police Constable Sarah Firth, Norden Community Beat Manager, said: "Thanks to information passed on by members of the public we have been able to act swiftly to put this cannabis production operation out of action.
"There is a growing trend of private rented properties being used for these purposes. Private landlords should be aware that such tenants cause thousands of pounds worth of damage to the properties, and so it is for their benefit that they are more vigilant and conduct proper checks into potential tenants prior to renting out their properties."
