Pedestrian injured in traffic collision in Littleborough

A 36-year-old woman is in a critical condition in hospital following a traffic collision in Littleborough on Friday night, 22 June.
At 9.10pm a Kawasaki ZX 600 Motorbike was being ridden along Todmorden Road, towards Todmorden when it was in collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 36-year-old woman from Littleborough, suffered serious head injuries and internal injuries. She was taken to Rochdale Infirmary where she remains in a critical condition.
The man riding the motorbike, a 39-year-old from Todmorden, suffered facial injuries and was taken to Rochdale Infirmary for treatment.
Todmorden Road was closed for approximately five hours while officers examined the area.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have any further information on the collision to contact the area 3 road policing unit on 0161 856 8473.
