Date published: 02 June 2009
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing has been given planning permission to build 22 new homes after starting a subsidiary group to develop new builds.
Brighter Horizons, a registered charity, will bring forward an 'ambitious annual development programme of new home building', and have been given planning permission to start work on new homes in Croft Street.
The £2.1 million scheme will deliver 18 bungalows and four family homes.
Ultimately Brighter Horizons hopes to develop 150 homes over three years.
The charity’s trustees include representatives from RBH, Rochdale Borough Council, plus several independent housing professionals.
