Freemasons open night
Date published: 27 May 2009
Rochdale Freemasons are holding an open night this week, in an attempt to quash stereotypes and misconceptions about their work.
The doors of the Masonic Hall, Richard Street, will be open to the public on Friday evening, where members will give a talk and answer questions that anyone may have.
A buffet supper will be provided at the meeting, which will begin at 7.00pm.
Freemason spokesman David Greenhalgh said: “There are a lot of misconceptions around Freemasonry and we want to show everyone details of what we do.
“We will hand out information leaflets and talk about our work openly, and we’ll be on hand to answer people’s questions.”
To confirm a place call Mr Greenhalgh on 07766777222.
