Rochdale ready to 'Feel Good'
Date published: 15 May 2009

The Feel Good Festival drew the crowds last year, and returns this July.
Rochdale town centre will come alive with sights and sounds this summer as the Feel Good Festival returns for its second year.
The event was originally supposed to run for a week but a dispute over funding saw it reduced to a two day celebration of entertainment and culture on the weekend of Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July.
Already confirmed in the line-up are celebrity chefs Aldo Zilli and Aazam Ahmad who will be providing live interactive chef demonstrations.
The festival will include live music across eight venues plus an outdoor stage near the Town Hall. Artists are set to be confirmed in the next few days, with XFM DJ Clint Boon already signed up to compere the main stage.
Jill Hodkinson, Township Manager at Rochdale Council, said the festival will provide something for everyone: “This year’s Rochdale Feel Good Festival will be bigger and better than ever providing a feast of music, food and entertainment to the town centre.”
