Update: Policeman remanded in custody over lover's death

The policeman charged with murdering his constable fiancée has been remanded in custody, after appearing in court this morning (Monday 11 May).
Martin Alexander Forshaw, 26, was arrested on the scene after a car crash last in Bolton last Thursday.
Fiancée and colleague Claire Howarth, 31, was found with severe head injuries which police believe may have happened before the accident.
Pc Howarth was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The couple were due to get married on Tuesday.
Forshaw, of Meadow Way, Tottington, Bury, appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court charged with murder.
He has resigned from his position with Cheshire Police
He was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on May 18.
