Landlady found dead in pub

A landlady has been found dead inside her pub in Heywood.
The body of Bernadette Bridge, known to customers as “Bernie”, was found early on Saturday morning (2 May) in the White Lion pub on York Street.
Flowers and tributes have been scattered outside the pub, which is temporarily closed.
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed her death was not suspicious.
The matter has been passed on to the coroner.
