The Baum has been crowned as the best pub in town
One of Rochdale’s most popular pubs is to win yet another award.
The Baum, on Toad Lane, is to be handed the CAMRA Pub of the Year Award 2009 for Rochdale, Oldham and Bury on Saturday (2 May).
The award marks another success for the pub, which has been previously been branded the safest pub in Rochdale by Best Bar None (BBN) accredited venues, and won best Pub at the Town Centre Business Awards 2008.
Owner Simon Crompton is to arrive at The Baum at 5pm on Saturday to receive the award.
