Get revenge on your boss – throw them out of an airplane
Date published: 17 April 2009

MedEquip4Kids’ community fundraiser, Becky Larner, gets in some practice for Toss the Boss with charity mascot, Pip.
Ever wanted to get your own back on your boss?
Children's charity MedEquip4Kids has the ideal opportunity with a brand new fundraising event, Toss the Boss.
The charity is looking for people to nominate their boss to be thrown 14,000ft from an airplane in a tandem parachute jump.
Toss the Boss takes place on Sunday 12 July at Grange over Sands and participants are asked to pay a £50 registration fee and raise a minimum £320 sponsorship. The money raised will be spent providing medical equipment and improving facilities at children’s wards and neo-natal units across the North West to ensure children and babies receive the best possible care when sick or injured.
MedEquip4Kids’ community fundraiser, Becky Larner, said: “We organise parachute jumps regularly for fundraisers who want to support us but thought we would try something different with Toss the Boss to aim directly it at the workplace. It would be an ideal staff day out or team building exercise as well as the chance to enjoy an exhilarating challenge to raise money for MedEquip4Kids.”
