Rochdale’s Apprentice candidate, Noorul Choudhury, will tonight have the nation on the edge of their seats. Rochdale Online reporter KIRSTY RIGG caught up with the man himself to find out more…

Tonight’s the night. The nation will be on the edge of their seats as Rochdale’s Apprentice candidate, Noorul Choudhury, will reveal whether or not he has been kicked off the show.

As expected, Noorul was tight lipped about the results of the show, but luckily he took the time to have a chat with Rochdale Online News about his experiences as a contestant for the frightening Sir Alan Sugar.

He stopped by the Mayor's Parlour and chatted with deputy Mayor, Councillor Keith Swift.

Noorul, a science teacher from Castleton, refused to say whether or not he would stay in Rochdale if he won The Apprentice, but he did say he is proud of his hometown.

He said: “I have spent all my life in this town and I love it, especially the bars and cafes in the town centre.

“This is the place where I have spent all my life, my friends and family are here, Rochdale will always be my hometown.

He added: “I have really enjoyed being on the show, but I am very restricted as to what I can say for the moment as the outcome is yet to be broadcasted”.

The result will be aired on BBC at 9pm.
