Man killed in Middleton

A pedestrian has been killed in a hit-and-run collision in Middleton.
Police officers were called to Townley Street on Saturday night (28 March) where they found the body of a 24-year-old man, who had been struck by a Seat Leon.
A 21-year-old man was later arrested after handing himself in.
He is being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after an accident.
Inquiries are ongoing.
