Date published: 27 March 2009
A panicked member of staff was forced to dial 999 after a customer became aggressive over a drugs counter.
Three police cars visited the Co-op pharmacy, Manchester Road, Castleton, this morning after an aggressive customer made threats to staff at 11.30am.
A member of staff said she did not want to give details of the incident but would like to confirm that everyone is ok and the shop is still open for business.
A spokesperson Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers were called to the Co-op pharmacy after reports of a member of the public threatening and intimidating staff. No-one was injured during the incident.”
