Taxi driver robbed at knifepoint

A taxi driver was robbed at knifepoint during a terrifying robbery in his cab last Thursday (19 March).
The 63-year old picked up a man at the Cozy Cars office on Halifax Road at around 7pm on was taking him to Park Road before he was told to stop on Davyhulme Street in Heybrook.
The passenger then held a knife to the driver's throat and demanded his wallet, containing around £50, and mobile phone before running off.
The man is described as asian, 6ft tall, 25 to 30 years old and was wearing a dark hooded top.
