Robbers storm pub for £5000

A gang of robbers escaped with £5000 after breaking into a popular Milnrow pub.
Four men stormed the Wishing Well pub on Harbour Lane at 4.00am on Monday morning.
One of the men burst into one of the bedrooms and demanded cash from the occupants.
A member of staff, who did not want to be named, said: “I was not around at the time but I do know everyone is ok and the pub is open for business as usual”.
Greater Manchester Police are currently investigating the incident.
