Last chance to register - or miss out!

Voting slip
Residents in Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton are being urged to make sure their names are included on the electoral register or face missing out on the right to vote.
Over the last few months we have sent electoral registration forms to every household in the borough so that the register can be updated.
It is a legal requirement to provide the information requested on the form and if people fail to complete and return it, it could mean that their names are removed from the register.
Chief Executive Roger Ellis said: "It is vitally important that people get this information back to us as soon as possible. If they don't they they could miss out on the right to vote. Not only that, the electoral roll is also used by licensed credit reference agencies to check people’s details. Not being on it can affect your ability to get credit, so it's important that details are up to date.
"If residents do not return their forms after the second reminder has been sent out, then they will receive a personal visit from an officer during November when they will be asked to fill in a third reminder form which the officer will then return to the Electoral Office."
