Three injured in Littleborough collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after three people were injured in a collision in Littleborough yesterday afternoon, Monday 30 July 2007.
At about 4.35pm a Mini was travelling north along Todmorden Road when it is thought to have lost control and collided with a Ford Galaxy that was travelling in the opposite direction, near to the junction with Calderbrook Road.
A 30-year-old woman from Milnrow, who was driving the Mini, suffered a minor head injury and whiplash. Her front seat passenger, a 31-year-old man also from Milnrow, suffered a fractured right arm, a fracture to his lower back and possible internal injuries.
A 44-year-old woman from Holmfirth, who was driving the Galaxy, suffered a fractured collarbone and whiplash.
All three people were taken to Rochdale Infirmary for treatment.
Todmorden Road was closed for about four hours while officers dealt with the incident.
