Mayor congratulates Link4Life staff on training success

The Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Peter Evans, met with staff from Link4Life to congratulate them on their recent training success and to present them with their Certificates. 

As part of its commitment to service improvement, Link4Life, in partnership with Central Sports Management and Training Limited, delivers training and assessment to its workforce in a variety of National Vocational Qualifications related to the service. The full qualification framework can take 12 to 18 months to complete. 

Speaking about the awards, the Mayor recognised the hard work and commitment by Link4Life staff and stressed the importance of training. He said: “I admire your achievement in gaining these qualifications. A well trained workforce is central to Rochdale Council’s aim to provide a high quality service that meets the needs of customers and I congratulate all staff who have participated.”

Twenty-one members of staff gained Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ qualifications in Operations and Development.
