An 18-year-old has been killed in a large car crash on Manchester Road.
The Greater Manchester Police Serious Collision investigation unit is now appealing for information after the fatal road traffic collision in Rochdale last night (Tuesday 3 December).

The teenager was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after the vehicle he was travelling in collided with another vehicle, one of which was overturned and crushed.
A man in his 20s and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and associated driving offences including aggravated vehicle taking.
They remain in custody for questioning.
Greater Manchester Police has revealed that officers responded to a report of a theft of a vehicle on William Greenwood Close in Heywood. While responding, a short pursuit took place after a Toyota Aqua Hybrid failed to stop.
The Toyota then collided with a Volkswagen Up on Manchester Road before coming to a stop.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services who attended, sadly, an 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Volkswagen Up did not receive any injuries and remained at the scene to assist officers with their investigations.
In-line with normal procedure, referrals have been made to our Professional Standards Directorate and the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
