Heywood AODS Presents Footloose - Middleton Arena, Friday - Saturday .

HeyKids of Heywood (part of Heywood AODS) has been nurturing the talents of young people aged 8 to 18 for over 35 years.

Visit Fireground Museum inc Halloween Trail – Fireground , Maclure Road,  Friday and  Saturday, 10am - 4pm.

Fire Museum attractions are on show including historic and recent day artifacts. In addition, we also have a Halloween Trail on Saturday 26 October.

Middleton Scarefest - No Way Out 2024 - Engine House at Lodge Mill, 4.30pm - 9pm.

Middleton Scarefest is back with another glimpse into the dark side of our town's history during a spooky, scary tour in the oldest surviving mill.

Gallery Exhibitions - Littleborough Coach House, Monday to Saturday 10am - 3pm.

Rochdale Artists - mixed media. Exhibitions are generally mounted in the Heritage Room and Victoria Room.

Big Screen Cinema Day - The Ashcroft, Doors open 9:30 am, film starts at 10 am.

Castleton Literary and Scientific Society - St. Martin's Church, 7pm.

Tales from the Blood Bikes. A talk by Peter Leonard, explorer, recounting experiences of the motor bike service that moves donated blood to an appropriate hospital, a vital support service for the NHS.

Halloween Ghost Walk - Falinge Park, 4pm - 9pm

Our terrifying ghost walk will take you through the darkest regions of the park where spooks, demons and witches seek to scare the soul right out of you in our Halloween Scarefest.

Rochdale Ramblers annual potato pie walk - Norden, 1pm.

This is a leisurely 5.5 mile walk around Norden and the reservoirs.  After the walk at 4pm there is a potato/cheese and onion pie tea at Norden Bowling Club.

Bereavement Café - Moorhouse Methodist Church, 11am - 2pm.

We offer a relaxed safe space to talk with others who are going through similar circumstances whilst having a brew and cake.

Marvellous Markets - Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre, 9am - 5pm.

Join us at Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre located in Central Square (near Iceland and Poundland store). Visit our indoor market, bag yourself a unique treat, meet the marvellous makers, see their amazing creations, come and grab yourself a bargain.

Code Club - Rochdale Library, 10.15am to 11.15am.

Come along and learn to code at Rochdale main library, the sessions will be fun and informal and are suitable for children aged 9 to 13 years of age.

Springfield Park Model Train Rides - Springfield Park, 1pm to 4pm.

Our miniature railway running in Springfield Park, is now open every Sunday afternoon till the end of October.

Family Halloween Party - The Ashcroft, 11am – 2pm.

Rochdale Ramblers - Witch Way to Barley? 10am.

This is an interesting and varied walk taking in some villages and sites with links to the Pendle witches. Toilets and cafe at Barley.

Powerful Poetry Writing Workshop - Rochdale Town Hall, 2pm - 4pm.

How have poets in the past and present used their voices to advocate for change?  In this workshop, you can find your voice in verse to empower change today.

Halloween Special Miniature Trains - Springfield Park, 4pm - 7pm.
