Boy and man arrested for suspected arson attack on Rochdale home

A 16-year-old boy and a 45-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire that injured five people at a home.

Rochdale Online News reported last week how two adults and three children managed to escape a house fire in Rochdale on 4 September.
 

The fire happened on Halifax Road on Wednesday night

 

Emergency services including three fire engines, police officers and paramedics all attended the building on Halifax Road shortly before 9pm, where they were all treated for injuries.

Thankfully they are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

Greater Manchester Police is still appealing for information on the incident.
