Date published: 16 August 2024

There were many very happy faces at Cardinal Langley RC Sixth Form College this week where students have excelled at A-level and vocational courses once again, with the vast majority of students now moving on to their first choice of university.

Students’ average UCAS point score increased once more and 42% of students achieved grades A* - B with nine students achieving three or more A or A* grades. Teachers and support staff were thrilled to congratulate students, acknowledging all of the successes and wishing students well as they move on to the next stage on their chosen pathways.

Mr Bridson, headteacher at Cardinal Langley, said: “We are delighted with our exceptional A Level and BTEC examination results: our students have, yet again, excelled themselves with the majority of students being offered their first choice of destination.

“The continued resolve, drive and commitment that our students demonstrate is unsurpassable and today’s results reflect the determined effort that they and their teachers and support staff have shown over the last two years. It is pleasing to see our students taking their next steps with confidence and purpose.

“On behalf of everyone here at Cardinal Langley, I would like to congratulate our wonderful students - we are immensely proud of all of you and it is brilliant that your hard work and dedication has been rewarded.
