Will Edgar, runner-up of The Voice Kids, visited Moorhouse Academy in Milnrow on 4 December, where he performed music to pupils.
A talented multi-instrumentalist, Will learnt to play guitar and sing during lockdown. Since then, he has performed for the King and also achieved the runner-up position on the immensely popular television show The Voice Kids, where he was part of Team Danny (of pop band McFly fame).
After performing cover tracks, and also giving the children a sneak preview of his upcoming original material, questions were put to Will from all of the Watergrove Trust's schools.
Steven Lancaster, of the Watergrove Trust, said: "Will practices his craft every day and the results are phenomenal.
"We would like to thank Will for his outstanding performance and we wish him all very best with what we are sure will be a hugely successful career."
