Woman killed in collision is formally identified

A 29-year-old woman killed in a road traffic collision in Rochdale over the weekend has been formally identified.
Jayne Casey, born 11/08/78, of Thorntree Place, Rochdale, leaves behind an 11-year-old son, as well as her parents and 18-year-old brother.
The family are extremely shocked and upset about losing Jayne and her son is obviously distressed and is being cared for by Jayne's parents.
Jayne died after a grey Toyota Corolla was in collision with two parked cars on Featherstall Road, Littleborough, at about 8.25am on Saturday 27 October 2007.
No one else was injured.

Rashid Asim, born 5/10/76, of Millfield Grove, has been charged with death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of excess alcohol. He is due before Rochdale Magistrates today, Monday 29 October 2007.
