GCSE results 2023: Cardinal Langley GCSE and BTEC results

Shams achieved five grade 9s, a Distinction*, a Distinction and four grade 8s and she will commence her A level studies at Cardinal Langley, studying Chemistry, Maths and Physics
Students at Cardinal Langley RC High School are celebrating excellent GCSE and BTEC exam results with more than a hundred students expecting to continue at Cardinal Langley with their A-level studies.
Headteacher, Mr Bridson said: “We were absolutely delighted to see everyone this morning. Our students have worked incredibly hard and they thoroughly deserve these outstanding results.
“It has been an honour to work together with each of our wonderful students during their time here at Cardinal Langley. Staff have worked tirelessly to prepare students for their exams and have gone above and beyond in supporting students’ learning over the last five years.
“The quality of work our students produce continues to astound us, their diligence and their commitment is unwavering, and we are immensely proud of each and every one of them.”
“I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of everyone at Cardinal Langley, to offer my congratulations to all our students.”
Dhiya was delighted with her results. She achieved nine Grade 9s and a Grade 8 and will commence her A-level studies at Cardinal Langley Sixth Form College in chemistry, maths, physics and biology.
Jeffrey was thrilled with his results. He achieved nine Grade 9s and a Distinction* and will now go on to study A-levels in maths, further maths, RE and physics.
John achieved eight Grade 9s and two Grade 8s and will remain at Cardinal Langley for his A-level studies in maths, physics, chemistry and further maths.
Sebastian achieved six Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and two Grade 7s and will now go on to study A-levels in biology, chemistry and maths.
Stephanie achieved five Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and a Grade 7. She will go on to study biology, chemistry and media studies at A-level.
Thomas achieved three Grade 9s, five Grade 8s and two Grade 7s. He will remain at Cardinal Langley to study A-levels in maths, biology, physics and PE.
Carys achieved three Grade 9s, four Grade 8s, one Grade 7 and two Grade 6s. She will commence her A-level studies at Cardinal Langley in maths, English literature, biology and chemistry.
