Power cut in Milnrow and Newhey leaves hundreds without electricity

A power cut in Milnrow and Newhey left hundreds of customers without electricity on Sunday evening (12 February).

The incident was first reported to Electricity North West at 10.14pm, affecting around 202 customers.

Electricity was restored after about an hour.

The company said: "This power cut has been caused by an unexpected incident on the high voltage cable that provides electricity to your home or business.

"We didn't know before your electricity went off that this was going to happen but now we know, rest assured we will get your power back on safely and as quickly as possible."

OL16 4HX, OL16 3DN, OL16 3JT, OL16 3JZ, OL16 3LB, OL16 3LD, OL16 4HQ, OL16 3NJ, OL16 3JU, OL16 3LE, OL16 4HG, OL16 3LF, OL16 4HS, OL16 3LG, OL16 3LS
