Man 'carrying a knife' arrested on bus in Rochdale

The man was arrested and taken into police custody for questioning
A man suspected of carrying a knife on a bus in Rochdale has been arrested.
Police from GMP’s TravelSafe team were alerted at around 9am on Thursday 12 January by a member of public.
Officers quickly arrived on scene, stopped the bus and arrested the man who was taken into police custody for questioning.
GMP’s TravelSafe team regularly patrols public transport networks around Greater Manchester.
