Spotland Community Centre hosted an International Food Festival
People were able to taste a range of foods from different cuisines from around the world at an international food festival at Spotland Community Centre.
Cuisines on offer at the event on 10 August included dishes from various regions of Poland, Africa including Sudan and Libya, and Portugal.
One of the Prince's Trust students based at Spotland Community Centre also created vegan options from the UK.
Entertainment included face painting, live piano playing and singing from the choir who have started sessions on Tuesday evening at the community centre.
Around 65 people attended, organised by the New Pioneers team in partnership with Rochdale Council and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.
Centre manager Asghar Ali said the event was “a great success.”
He added: “The food festival was also a celebration of our new garden launch at Spotland Community Centre in partnership with RBH and the Working Skills Team.”
