Residents of Stamford House Rest Home in Rochdale enjoyed their own jubilee celebrations on Friday (3 June).
The home had been fittingly decorated with jubilee bunting and balloons whilst residents had helped to make a royal mood board in the lead up to the big weekend.
Residents gathered in the lounge for an afternoon tea style lunch whilst listening to traditional songs selected for the occasions. They then played bingo and finished off with party songs and dancing.
A wonderful afternoon was had by all, and the residents said the party certainly lifted their bank holiday spirits.
Deputy Manager Sheila Ruane said: “It was lovely to see everyone together and having fun for such a momentous occasion. After the past two years, it is definitely a welcome and much-needed celebration.
The celebrations continued throughout the weekend with jubilee crafts and garden games.
