Middleton’s world dance champions Mia Linnik-Holden and Andrei Toader have been crowned the U21 Ballroom European Champions.
The duo performed at the European Championships at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens over the Easter weekend where they also received fourth place in the amateur ballroom category.
They said: “We want to thank our family, team, coaches and sponsors for their support and commitment to us. And thank you to all of our followers and fans who created the amazing atmosphere that we performed in.”
Mia and Andrei, who is originally from Romania, have continued to top the dance scene since rising to the youth ranks in 2018. They first became junior world champions after their partnership began in May 2015, racking up numerous titles in both the junior ballroom and Latin ranks.
Last year they were crowned champions of the North of England amateur ballroom and U21 youth British national ballroom in the British Nationals Championships, which displays the best British ballroom and Latin dancing over three days.
