As part of the national roadmap out of restrictions, the government is asking the public to take-up twice weekly LFT tests, known in the borough as FAST testing.
This is quick and easy to do and you will be playing your part in helping to stop the spread of the virus, while teams work on the vaccine rollout.
Andrea Fallon, director of public health at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “Testing is widely available to all our residents across the borough and that’s because it’s a really important part of our roadmap out of restrictions. We’ve been really committed in providing a strong testing offer.
“With restrictions slowly easing there is now more opportunity to interact with others, either through socialising or work. It’s really important that you still manage any risk to yourself and others and a key way to do that is through regular FAST testing.”
You can take part at your local FAST testing site or through community collect packs.
