Machetes recovered from car after occupants flee following collision

Two machetes were recovered from a car after a collision on Market Place, Middleton (Friday 16 April).
A Nissan Qashqai collided with a Ford Fiesta at around 7.40pm. The Qashqai failed to stop and the occupants of the Fiesta made off prior to police arrival.
The machetes were recovered from the abandoned Ford Fiesta.
No arrests have been made and enquires are ongoing.
