Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) has closed its customer and drop-in centres in response to the current Covid-19 outbreak.
While RBH teams will remain available online and by telephone, St Alban’s House and Strand Hub on Kirkholt will be closed for the foreseeable future.
In a statement the organisation said: “We have taken the decision to close our customer centre at St Alban's House in order to safeguard the health and safety of our tenants and employees.
“We will do everything that we can to deliver all of our services as usual. However, if the outbreak escalates or the Government puts in place additional restrictions, we may need to take some actions to reduce the risk of further spread and to keep our tenants and employees as safe as possible.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding in the event that we need to do this. As soon as anything changes, we will make sure that we let you know.”
