Rochdale policeman receives six points on licence for speeding

A Rochdale policeman has received six points on his licence after speeding last year.
Laurence James Ridge, of Colne, appeared at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court on 11 March, where he pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding on the Haslingden bypass A56 on 22 April 2019.
Ridge was fined £259, and ordered to pay £100 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
