Police want to speak to 23-year-old Cameron Couper from Whitworth in connection with an assault in Blackpool.

An initial altercation is thought to have taken place at The Corner House pub, Sherbourne Road, around 9pm on Sunday 16 February after which a group of males left the premises.

A short time later it is alleged that the same group returned to the pub and assaulted a 24-year-old man.

Couper, who also has links to Bacup, is believed to be currently staying in the Blackpool area. He is described as 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with blonde hair usually worn in a top knot, but this has potentially been recently cut off. He is pictured above in 2018.

DC Adam Weaver from Lancashire Police said: “We are appealing to the local community and members of the public to assist with providing information as to the whereabouts of Cameron Couper. He is believed to have links with Blackpool and the East Lancashire area. Any information relating to him or his current whereabouts would be gratefully received.”

Two men aged 24 and 28 from Blackpool and a 23-year-old man from Whitworth have been arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation.

Anyone who has any information about Couper’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 or email 3984@lancashire.pnn.police.uk quoting log number 1521 of 16 February.
