Whitworth Medical Centre has reopened after closing for a short period of time on Tuesday (10 March).

The practice closed whilst attending to a poorly patient, and has since reopened as normal.

Dr Mark Dziobon, Medical Director at NHS East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “Whitworth Medical Centre was temporarily closed for a short period of time whilst the practice tended to a poorly patient.

“We apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We can confirm that the practice has re-opened.”
