Heywood man charged with violent disorder after large-scale disturbance in Oldham last year

Twenty people – including a Heywood man – have been charged with violent disorder following a large-scale disturbance in Oldham in May 2019.
Duane Coleman, 33, will appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on 19 March.
On Saturday 18 May 2019 during a planned event in Oldham, officers responded to a disturbance in the Limeside area.
A number of objects were thrown and damage was caused to police vehicles.
In total, 15 men from Oldham, one from Halifax, one from Crumpsall and two boys, both aged 16 years who cannot be named for legal reasons, have also been charged with violent disorder.
