Nicholas Dodd, a former head boy at Beech House School, was one of 29 pupils nominated for the ISA Whitbread Prize 2019.
The Whitbread Prize is the top award for the schools which belong to the Independent Schools Association (ISA).
Beech House Principal Kevin Sartain said: “Nicholas was nominated for his involvement in – and service to – wider aspects of school and community life; in conjunction with achieving academic excellence in GCSE results.
“Being nominated is a great achievement in itself, as these nominees come from around.5,000 pupils who sat GCSEs in 2019 at ISA’s 533 members’ schools.”
