Heywood Charities Fete grant funding applications now open

Date published: 15 October 2019

Applications are now open for local charities and community groups to request grant funding from the Heywood Charities Fete Committee.

Applicants should state the amount they are requesting and what the funds are required for.

John Heyworth, fete chairman, said: “We thank all of the people of Heywood for supporting the Heywood Charities Fete. We also thank all those groups and organisations that worked hard to put on a very enjoyable event for Heywood.

“Notwithstanding the morning, adverse weather and the reduced turnout of people on the day, we are pleased to confirm that the Heywood Charities Fete was a great success and we were still able to make sufficient funds to be able to share this with local charitable and community groups.”

Applications can be submitted by email or by letter to:

  • Janice Brooks (Heywood Charities Fete Treasurer), 101 Higher Lomas Lane, Heywood, OL10 4RU.
  • Email: janicels@hotmail.com

Applications should be submitted no later than 30 November 2019.

Distribution of any funds allocated will be made at the Heywood Charities Fete Committee on 10 February 2020.
