Breaking: Market Street in Whitworth blocked after collision

The junction of Market Street and Station Road, Whitworth, near the Halfway House pub
Market Street in Whitworth is currently blocked (9.50am Thursday 10 October) following a two-vehicle collision this morning.
The collision occurred near the Halfway House pub at 8.43am, with emergency services still on scene.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “We were called at 8.43am to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Market St, Whitworth.
“The road is currently blocked.”
