Tony Lloyd MP at the Polish Catholic Centre

Tony Lloyd MP visited the Polish Catholic Centre on Manchester Road on Sunday 16 June, both to celebrate mass in the Chapel and hold a surgery.

Mr Lloyd answered questions from the Polish community about their on-going concerns regarding the impact of Brexit, particularly with regards to EU nationals.

The surgery primarily covered issues with regards to the EU Settlement Scheme where Mr Lloyd was able to provide practical information and guidance to Polish EU nationals who have made their home in the UK and wish to remain following Brexit.

The meeting was well attended, and plans were put in place to hold regular clinics at the Polish Catholic Centre to assist in the completion of online documentation for the EU Settlement Scheme.
