Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale Circle has been invited to present their use of technology at a workshop in Brussels on Tuesday (28 May).
Circle is a membership organisation open to anyone over 50, supporting individuals and communities to lead their lives the way they want.
Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale Circle (HMR Circle) is the only British representative and one of only four Social Enterprises from across Europe presenting at New Technologies and Digitisation: Opportunities and Challenges for the Social Economy and the Social Enterprises, joining Greece, Italy and the Netherlands in showcasing their use of technology to deliver their respective services.
The Co-Creation workshop has been organised by the United Nations University, Q-Plan International, Manchester University and EASME.
HMR Circle has been asked to speak about Haydemol, its bespoke Customer Relations Management (CRM) system designed and developed to log the thousands of bookings and interactions had with members and volunteers every month.
Haydemol has been a cornerstone of the success HMR Circle has enjoyed and is one of the major keys to the expansion and development of the business.
HMR Circle Director, Mark Wynn said: “We are hugely honoured to be invited to present at such a prestigious event, and we are also very proud of what we have achieved as an organisation for our Members. We are equally proud to be showcasing not just ourselves but the whole Rochdale Borough in an International arena."
Operations Manager at HMR Circle, Leanne Chorlton added: “We possibly take our Haydemol system for granted at times, but when it is highlighted as a real innovation by major universities and institutions it brings home just how amazing a system it is.”
HMR Circle's international reputation continues to grow with two more delegations flying in from South Korea in June and July to look at the HMR Circle model.
Closer to home, new partnerships in Greater Manchester and North London will be announced as HMR Circle develops as an organisation.
