Police are appealing for information following a collision on Albert Royds Street

Police are appealing for information following a collision at 11.00am on Tuesday 30 April involving a Blue Suzuki motorcycle which was travelling south along Albert Royds Street towards Rochdale Road.
A Black Toyota Avensis was stationary at the side of Albert Royds Street between the junctions with Bellshill Crescent and Bellfield Mill Lane allowing vehicles to pass.
The Avensis then set off, whereupon it collided with the Suzuki motorcycle.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where they remain in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information or dashcam footage to come forward.
